GlashFish with Eclipse Installation



1.Gio to Help--> eclipses Marketplace : search for Glashfish tools




2.Go to Window → Show view → servers:



3.Right click on Servers--> new → Server--> Choose Glasfish → Glasfish x.0













4.Starting Glashfish → Servers → Glashfish → right click → start







If Above screen is commimg for LONGTIME , then you hava a problem with domain


→ go to glashfish--> domains--> remove/Delete domain1 folder
D:\\glassfish-4.x\glassfish4\glassfish\domains









Delete that Folder and Rename the Glashfish server folder, and add the new Server with new configuration. Remember don't give ADMIN password, leave it Empty


For Succesffull Login ,Login required no password for the FIRST TIME




→ To change/Give ADMIN Password
Domain--> Admin Password



Change Admin Password


To run glassfish on port 80 you need to :


1) Connect to the administration interface (by default on port :4848)


2) In the left menu go to Configurations


3) Then select the appropriate configuration you need to change eg server-config


4) Then go to Network Config


5) Then go to Network Listeners


6) Select the appropriate listener, probably http-listener-1


7) Change the Port value to 80


8) Save and reboot your glassfish server/instance/cluster according to your needs







Errors and Solutions


1.Wrong user name or password. Killing startup process.


→ An administration user name and password. The default user name is admin, and by default no password is required.
